Take part in online research into interactive gambling

A class of researchers from Australian and Canadian universities are looking for adult Australian volunteers, who have gambled for money in the past 12 months, to complete an online 10-15 minute survey as part of new research into interactive gambling.

The researchers have joined forces to collect data that will help other researchers, policy makers, and other key stakeholders gain a better understanding of interactive gambling and the people who gamble using the internet, mobile phone and digital TV.

Funded by Gambling Research Australia the project, Interactive Gambling involves participant’s completing a series of brief questionnaires designed to test their gambling knowledge and behaviour.

One the questionnaires are complete participants will receive a score that shows how their gambling behaviour, knowledge, etc. compares to other people.

Anonymous information from the questionnaires will feed into a database that will be used for analysis once the study is complete.

The information research is extremely valuable as it will increase the understanding of the nature of gambling, and internet gambling in particular Australia

You don’t have to answer questions in the survey that you don’t want to answer, and you can quit any of the questionnaires at any time.

You can access the study here and once you have completed the survey you have the opportunity to enter a draw to win one of 10 iPods.
